Achievement

Both Rachel and Benjamin have made many achievements. At four of the eight National Parks that we visited, they have both received the badges for becoming a Junior Ranger.

Signs

As we have been traveling across the country, we have seen many signs. Some of these have more meaning than any other for what ever reason.

Bloppers-Hairy Business

Bloppers-Mac n' Cheese

“Does anybody want some macaroni and cheese?” We can not count how many times Katie repeated that phrase. She is absolutely in-love with mac n’ cheese, she has even resolved to marry the dinosaur. Mac n’ cheese anybody?

Bloppers-"Honey I Shrunk the Kids"

Ben shrunk Jaclyn and Katie. We don’t really know how he did it on the road and all. Then before he could say, “Honey, I shrunk the kids” Luisa stepped on them “unintentionally.” Yeah, I don’t believe that. Do you see the look on her face?

Bloppers-Grand Canyon

“I am going to jump off this cliff and there’s nothing you can do to stop me,” said Katie at every little ledge and step. She ended up jumping off about 20 “cliffs,” and survived.

At the ledge looking down into the Grand Canyon, we decided to climb up a little higher. It was a blast racing each other to the top and looking out over the wonderful view. Bekah and Jaclyn’s hair was sticking up on end and it was cool to look at, until we realized that it’s a sure sign of electricity in the air, lightning was on the way. We quickly got down and away from the edge, and after the jitters rolled off, we laughed. No lightning came that day.
