Lake Michigan reminded us of an ocean without the salt. We had a very nice swim and picked up keepsake rocks.
We found the border of Indiana and Michigan to have various opportunities to pick blueberries - Jaclyn's favorite berry. We picked over 6 pounds in no time. At $1.35 we didn't pick enough. No telling how many went straight from the bush to the mouth. Rachel, the dog lover, petted the tiniest dog of the trip. Actually, the biggest in this case. She has had mixed comments as she asks to pet every single dog that goes by. Some owners just simply say no.
With raspberries now gone from Uncle Mike and the Lewis', we now have blueberries for a few days.

Hi you Nyes! Carol Sorensen just gave me the link to your trip blog. It's wonderful. What a spectacular trip you're having. I'm guessing you will be going to Palmyra area, Kirtland, etc.
Niagara Falls is really amazing, isn't it? I think it's a place that does not disappoint, even though you've heard a lot about it.
Wishing you continued safe travels.
