Oh the Great Plains - rolling hills with gobs of corn and soybeans, bailed hay and grasses galour, not to mention the great sunsets. It is true, as sung in 'America the Beautiful' . . .
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
Oh the blessed country that we live in!!!
We found time to swim in the Missouri River and get some nice sun. The water was perfect. Later, we changed the oil and did some wash at a laundrymat. Using a 'paid' washer - a first for Benjamin and Rachel.

Probably a nice experience to use the laundromat -- after the ice chest for many days. BUT I'm proud of you for using the ice chest. I've told others about it and they've said "They really are doing that?" And some have said "I've seen ice chests on the back of motor homes --- so maybe that's what they are --- washing machines." Good for you
